Good Evening To You :) Foodaholic Here isa Little quick To Make and talty recipe that Will Bring à bit of Mediterranean on your tables. Here, finally me rather!, I'm a fan of pasta... I could eat every day (no lie!) because there are so many different forms and can accompany them with such a diversity of things it is a dish that never get tired! I think I want it for my mother who in devoured dishes and dishes while she was pregnant with me... in this recipe, the Orzo which is in the spotlight. Orzo? What is ca? Bah it is a kind of pasta not widely known in France but particularly popular in Italy (obviously!) but in England. You can cook in a salad as is the case in our recipe but also in main dish or soup. Moreover, to cook the famous "chorba" some use the Orzo, called "Tlitli" in the Maghreb (= to translate by 'languages of birds' in french). It is also the base of a dish of Eastern Algeria of the same name, I had posted you a recipe here. Here is therefore a nice and fast salad made with Orzo


Ingredients (for a salad for about 4 people):

-400 g of Orzo pasta
-4 case of soaked chickpeas
-1 packet of Parmesan cheese grated
-zest of half a lemon
-salt and pepper
-the juice of one lemon
-of olive oil
-half a bunch of fresh parsley *.

Cook pasta
Cooks prepare vinaigrette
Put Parmesan cheese in a bowl (the salad serving bowl)
Pepper and put the lemon juice
Put olive oil
Toss hot pasta with vinaigrette
Add the chickpeas and fresh parsley and serve immediately

* You can substitute parsley by:
-Basil to give yet more Mediterranean taste that will go perfectly with olive oil and Parmesan cheese
-of coriander to give a small oriental accent to your salad
